We got tired of ugly dashboards.

It came out of real work. We were dragging a company's reporting out of a clunky point-and-click tool, where every chart looked different, the numbers rarely agreed, and the bill grew with every hire. So we rebuilt it properly: one agreed look, one set of definitions, on the company's own systems.

It worked. Reports were consistent and quick to change, the numbers agreed, and it cost a fraction of the old tool. People stopped arguing about whose figure was right and got on with the decision.

So we turned it into Plotline, so any business can have the same without building it from scratch.

What we believe

• Your reporting should look like you meant it, not like five people made it.
• The same number should mean the same thing everywhere it appears.
• Your data and your dashboards should belong to you, not a vendor.
• Good reporting should not get more expensive just because you grew.
• You should not need to be technical to read, share, or trust a dashboard.
